Fit perfectly,
This screen fit my wife’s Toshiba NB255-N250 perfectly. As expected, this is a product intended for commercial computer repair shops, so there’s no instructions included. Hopefully the below information will help someone who needs it:
(WARNING: By following these procedures you WILL void your warranty. I accept no liability for you following these instructions and damaging your computer.)
Step 1: DO NOT REMOVE ANY SCREWS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE COMPUTER! There’s no need. All wires/connectors are in the screen.
Step 2: You need to remove 2 screws on the monitor part of the laptop. These 2 screws are on the lower left and right of the monitor and are concealed by flat rubberized “dots”. Remove these “dots” carefully to preserve the adhesive so you can use them again. You can then remove the screws for the monitor.
Step 3: Starting at the left or right hinge, CAREFULLY pry open the laptop monitor bezel (the plastic face that surrounds the screen). The bezel is “push-in” style, so as you are prying up and reach a latch, push the side of the bezel in slightly, and the latch should release. DO NOT try to force the bezel off by pulling harder when you reach these latches, or you will break the latch (very easy to do, even if you’re experienced) and you won’t be able to put it back on securely.
Step 4: Once you’ve removed the bezel, you’ll see the hinge plates connect to each side of the screen, and also the back cover of the “monitor” section of the laptop. Remove the 4 screws that hold these hinges to the back of the “monitor” case. The screen, as well as the webcam, should now swing freely from the back of the case.
Step 5: The ribbon cable that connects the webcam and the screen to the rest of the computer are coated with an adhesive. Hold the webcam, and carefully peel this cable back from the screen, until you reach the connector. Grab the connector firmly and pull down to disconnect it from the screen. Pull straight down, not side to side, or you may bend the connector and damage it.
Step 6: Remove the 4 screws that hold the screen to the hinges.
Assemble in reverse order of the above steps, being careful to:
– Insert the connector STRAIGHT UP into the screen.
– Fit the webcam in the provided slot when you reattach the hinge plates to the back of the “monitor” case.
– The bezel should snap back together with no more than gentle force. If it takes too much force, something’s not lined up properly.
Hopefully this helps keep someone from having to take their computer in to be repaired and saves you $80-90 in labor costs.

|Excellent service and product quality!,
This was the product that I was looking for. At the beginning I was doubtful about if the product was the right one, and fortunately it was. Now I have an almost new computer again! Very good packing too!
