    I ordered this as a spare, so I thought I wasn’t to concerned about anything as long as it worked. When it arrived, I found I was more picky than I realized. The male end that inserts into the camera has significant visible rust (see picture on listing). Although I could have removed the visible rust, I was concerned that there might be rust inside the connector that would contaminate the receptacle on my camera, so I have returned it to Amazon.

    A co-worker has a similar Canon camera and she can never find her cord to download her photos to her PC. I gave her mine. The replacement is a different color than that of the manufacturer but it works perfect.

    Great product and very prompt shipping.

    I would recommend this product and company to a friend.
